What is Unix ?

A computer Operating System developed durning the 60's and 70's at Bell Labs by Ken Thompson, Brian Kernighan, and Dennies Ritchie. This was first on developed on Dec PDP series hardware. (Early versions were used by Bell Labs for text processing.)
